House Lottery Rules
As you may be aware, due to the Covid 19 crisis, Fort William Rotary has curtailed sales of tickets through the Outlets and has suspended Open Houses in the interest of the public and our volunteers.  Under these exceptional circumstances, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission has permitted us to extend the draw dates and offer sales by telephone.  You are now able to submit requests for tickets on our website ( and volunteers will call you to complete the transaction over the phone.  Mail-in requests remain unchanged.
As of June 17th you are able to order tickets online and your tickets will be sent by Canada Post. 
Your support is critical to the success of this event and the support it provides to critical charities in our Community - Thank you for your continued support!
Rotary Club of Thunder Bay (Fort William)
  • No cash substitute for the Grand Prize
  • The Grand Prize House Draw to take place at approximately noon on October 12, 2020 at the Grand Prize House, 317 South Creek Street, Thunder Bay, ON.
  • Complete draw results will be published in the Chronicle Journal by November 10, 2020
  • Only 14,000 tickets will be sold at either $100 per ticket of 3 tickets for $250
  • Tickets must be purchased in the province of Ontario
  • Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets cannot be ordered or purchased in the name of a minor
  • Tickets must be paid in full to be eligible for a prize
  • Early Bird draws will occur at 11:30 am in the offices of BDO Canada LLP, 1095 Barton Street, Thunder Bay, ON on the following dates:
    • Friday, July 3rd
    • Friday, July 10th
    • Friday, July 17th
    • Friday, July 24th
    • Friday, July 31st
    • Friday, August 7th
    • Friday, August 14th
    • Friday, August 21st
    • Friday, August 28th
    • Friday, September 4th
  • Cut-off dates for Early Bird prizes is 6pm of the Sunday prior to draw
  • Early Bird prize winners are eligible for all subsequent draws and the grand prize.
  • All tickets remain in control of BDO Canada LLP
  • Method of payment to be cash, cheque, debit, MasterCard or Visa (Telephone sales payment is by credit card only)
  • Payment by cheque only accepted prior to September 14, 2020
  • The entrant name on all “3 for $250” tickets must be the same
  • First name on the front of the ticket is the official winner and is responsible for sharing any winnings with other names on the stub.  
  • Telephone sales of group tickets:  
    • Call-in phone order tickets are restricted to one additional name only. 
    • The online ticket order form must be used to purchase multiple name group tickets. Up to nine additional names are allowed.
  • Telephone call-back ticket order requests submitted through the website will be addressed within three days. Five contact attempts will be made before the request is deemed as cancelled.
  • The date of telephone sale of tickets is deemed to be when the payment transaction is approved.  
  • By purchasing a ticket you agree to allow us, the Rotary Club of Thunder Bay (Fort William), the right, if you are a prize winner, to use and publicly disclose your name, municipality of residence, image, photograph and likeness as a prize winner in any means required by the terms of our lottery license and/or that we consider appropriate for the purposes of administering and promoting the lottery, without notice, review or approval or additional compensation to you.
  • As a result of Rule Changes effective June 17, 2020 individuals who purchased tickets prior to this date have the right to withdraw their tickets from the raffle with a full refund. Requests to withdraw must be received, in writing (Club website Contact Form or by Canada Post), prior to midnight June 28, 2020.
  • The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
  • All prizes must be accepted as awarded
  • Rotary Club of Thunder Bay (Fort William) members and their spouses are not eligible
